Current Needs: Support to establish projects that raise the incomes of families of our children so that the projects become selfsustaining.

Project Overview: Despite the Uganda government’s efforts to offer free education in primary schools for every child, only a few children stay in schools because many can’t afford items such as pens, books, and uniforms due to the poverty of their family or that they are orphaned. Children who gorw up poor and ignorant are vulnerable to recruitment by groups wish to foment crime, vilonece and strife. WENIRUDA and families in North America began a grossroots effort to enable children in America to support the education of our children in Uganda. The goals of the project are to increase education access to the orphaned and vulnerable children in the West Nile region, and to promote peace within Uganda and among natians by building relationships between children in Uganda and in North America.
